Happy Christmas

We braved the cold and the crowds (actually wasn't too crowded?) and went to see the Christmas tree at The  Rockefeller Center. This year the lights are LED and twinkle. Everyone's feeling Christmassy!

Santa At Macy's

Harry went to see the REAL Santa at Macy's, he's got his list with him. Santa had a little difficulty deciding if "Star Wars Unleashed for the Wii" was appropriate for his age.

Soccer Champions

On a bitter November day, Ruby's soccer team won the U10 Manhattan Kickers League championship (despite my coaching). The news got a nice mention in a local Manhattan newspaper, Town & Village.

Halloween

This year, Ruby went as a character from Guitar Hero (Judy Nails) and Harry was Darth Vader. The photos are from their school's Boo Bash. The Horror!

Harry's 1st Day Of School

Harry seems pretty excited on his first day of school (PS116). I wonder if he'll be as excited in a few years time .. ? 

Beach Fun @ Fire Island

As always, Fire Island was a blast this year. Sun, Sand and Surf .. what's not to like. Even Murphy, our cat, thinks it is awesome.

Biking In New York

Every year, on 3 Saturdays, the city closes off Park Avenue to cars. Only Bikes, Rollerbladers, Runners are allowed. I think Harry's bike is a little small for him now, his poor little legs worked overtime to keep up. We rode our bikes all the way to Central Park for some well deserved ice cream.

Harry Graduates Pre-School

Harry managed to graduate his pre-school with flying honors, a few distinctions and 1 demerit for not napping at nap time.

Pirate Pa-aarggh-ty

Harry celebrated his 5th birthday party, by having an awesome pirate party in St Vartan's Park. The weather was perfect for getting splashed as everyone (including the parents) enjoyed the water pistol and water bomb fights. Lisa's 'treasure chest' cake would give Martha Stewart a run for her money any day. 

Aruba

On our vacation in Aruba. It sure is a beautiful Island.
